Kyle opened his first retail space in Durham, ON, selling products from local artists' and a showroom space for his creations.
Moved the storefront and shop to Listowel, ON, and expanded into offering woodworking supplies and live edge slabs.
We hired our first full time employee to increase production in the shop and assist in the storefront!

Kyle quit his full time job and took the leap to start Backwoods Timber Creations!
2018
Kyle rented a shop space outside of Listowel, ON and moved production out of the garage!
2020
Ali came on board to handle the storefront, and took over the marketing, customer communications and financial management.

We have a passion for educating and helping woodworkers and makers alike in all your projects and creations!
